Then the New York retail legend Dawn Mello hand-picked him for the coveted Fashion Director slot at Bergdorf Goodman. As style guru for the most exclusive retailer in the world, Aguiar became a preferred media source for his witty and to the point commentary on fashion.

This experience thrust James into the role of correspondent and fashion expert for the Emmy-nominated “FULL FRONTAL FASHION TV” where he can be seen hosting almost daily during NY Fashion Week.

His keen eye for all things in vogue brings him to every fashion capital in the world New York, Paris, London, as well as Miami and Los Angeles. James also hosts “BEHIND THE LABEL,” an in-depth portrait of the most influential designers in the industry, as well as “WHERE D’YA GET THAT?” where he chats with the trendiest people on the street. He has been a regular on E! Entertainment’s Style Network since 2003 when he co-hosted “STYLE COURT,” and is a recurring personality on the popular series “THE LOOK FOR LESS.”

Add to all this his latest project for WEtv “SHE’S GOT GAME” where he acts as a fashion game show host helping unsuspecting women win fantastic items by answering questions about fashion and style.
