Makeup Beat

I just heard the shocking news that celebrity makeup artist Paul Starr was found dead in his apartment on Tues Aug 19 2008. Cause of death unknown at this time. So sad to lose such a great talent. My heart goes out to his family and friends. May his soul rest in peace.
“In his more than 20 years as a top makeup artist, Starr worked extensively in fashion and film, working as a key makeup artist at fashion shows for designers Jean Paul Gaultier, Vivienne Westwood, Dolce & Gabbana and Sass & Bide. He worked with a who’s who of top fashion photographers, super models, and performers”.

Update: I’ve heard from his friends that he had heart problems so that may have been the cause of his death.
